Mission & History
OMC Mission
Embracing our diversity in backgrounds and talents, the OMC Parish School Community cultivates the possibilities of each student, so that all may be united with God and one another.
Faith, Learning, and Community Since 1855
For more than 160 years, Our Mother of Consolation Parish School has been guided by a shared commitment to faith, academic excellence, and service. While our campus, programs, and community have grown over the years, the values at the heart of OMC have remained remarkably consistent.
Today, we continue to fulfill that mission through exceptional teaching, meaningful partnerships with families, and a welcoming community where every student’s diverse backgrounds, experiences, and talents enrich our school. Together, these enduring values continue to guide the OMC experience for each new generation.
Values & Virtues
Curiosity & Growth
We believe the best learners never stop asking questions. Through exceptional teaching, engaging experiences, and individualized support, students develop the curiosity and independence to seek knowledge, think critically, and approach new challenges with confidence.
Character & Community
Character is shaped through experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Through co-curricular opportunities, service experiences, school traditions, and meaningful partnerships with families, we foster a close-knit community where students are encouraged to grow in character and families build lasting connections.
Purpose & Service
Service is an essential part of the OMC experience. Rooted in our Catholic mission and inspired by the Salesian tradition of gentleness, humility, and patience, students learn to care for others through meaningful acts of generosity and compassion.
